Tartan pleats with a matching top and bottom.

Chaukadi includes a lingerie top, matching bottom and pleated tartan skirt. Checked fabric and pleats establish the uniform-inspired look, while the three separate pieces keep the outfit straightforward. Each item has a clear place, and the skirt carries the pattern.

The little details

• Pleated tartan: The checked mini skirt gives the costume its main uniform detail.
• Collared top: A short tie, contrast collar and crest-style patch finish the cropped upper piece.
